Behind the Scenes: Styling Bernhardt’s New Showroom
Styling Bernhardt’s showroom in their newly unveiled building was a creative journey rooted in intention, planning, and brand alignment. I was brought in to support the vision set forth by Bernhardt’s internal design team and help bring their curated concept to life—layering in texture, unexpected elements, and cohesion in each moment.
Planning & Coordination
The styling process began long before any vase or floral stem was placed. Once I received the plans from the internal team, I mapped out the necessary components and defined the styling language for each space—minimal, modern, refined, and inherently Bernhardt. This included reviewing each room’s layout, studying fabric and material selections, and organizing the prop lists down to the final object.

Sourcing with Purpose
With a deep understanding of Bernhardt’s elevated and clean aesthetic, I set out to source pieces that would enhance—not compete with—the furniture. Everything from ceramic vessels to abstract florals was chosen to create visual pauses and accentuate the craftsmanship of the collection. Each piece needed to feel intentional and editorial, while supporting the tone set by the furnishings themselves.
Execution & Install
On install days, it’s all about flow and precision. With the support of the internal design team’s direction and layout plans, I moved between spaces, styling moments that felt both artful throughout the showroom’s displays. Vignettes were built through teamwork, that highlighted scale, balance, and negative space. We took extra care to ensure consistency across the showroom, with a soft yet modern approach that allowed the product to shine.
Bringing the Story to Life
One of the most rewarding aspects of styling this showroom was bringing a collective brand narrative into select moments. Whether it was the modern branch arrangement anchoring a dining vignette or a textured sculpture with form and tone, each space carried a sense of elegance and quiet confidence. It was less about decorating and more about curating—refining each detail to elevate the entire experience.
Working alongside Bernhardt’s internal team was an inspiring collaboration. Their clarity in vision paired with my editorial styling approach allowed us to create a showroom that feels authentic, aspirational, and true to the heritage of the brand’s evolution.
